Assigning values to beliefs is subjective; I think the problem of the existence of other minds has been around in philosophical debate for centuries because of its scary implication - solipsism, and that we're alone.
If you do not accept the existence of your own mind, then I think we might conceive the concept differently. Mind is the entity that lets you think. There would be no philosophizing without it.
Problem of other minds has been a popular subject in movies and books, so I think it is safe to say it has at least some appeal/invokes curiosity in people.
The problem is that we might never have a proper solution for a proof of existence of other minds. The rest of the blog is a description and critique of the proposed solutions.
Not everybody likes philosophy. I am trying to point out how it questions so many things that we take for granted and encourages us to be less dogmatic and biased in our thinking.
But i get what you are saying. Trying my best to not make people turn away from philosophy.
Thanks for your feedback :) appreciate it
